Microphone Hire

Microphone hire for speeches, weddings, conferences and live bands, from one radio mic for the toasts to a full set for the stage. Everything here is professional equipment, checked between hires, and you can collect it from our base near Diss or have it delivered and set up.

Radio mics. Our standard wireless handheld is the Electro-Voice RE3, a UHF system with a half-rack receiver and up to 8 hours on two AA batteries. The digital Sennheiser EW-D 835-S suits singers and presenters, and the Q-Audio QWM 1970 is a straightforward choice for halls, quizzes and schools.

Headset and lapel mics. For hands-free use there are Sennheiser EW-D systems with an ME 2 lapel mic, Q-Audio bodypacks supplied with both a headset and a lapel mic, and the sweat-proof JTS CM-304SP headset for fitness classes and hot stages.

Lecterns and top tables. The JTS gooseneck is a phantom-powered condenser on a flexible neck, with a table base or lectern mount. Pair it with our black lectern for speeches, AGMs and awards, or lay a Shure SM91A boundary mic on a conference table.

Wired mics. The Shure SM58 and Electro-Voice RE520 for vocals, the Shure Beta 57A for vocals and instruments, the Sennheiser e604 for toms and snare, and the Shure Beta 52A for kick drum, with Gravity stands from £5.

What's included. Radio mic systems come with their receiver, and the Sennheiser and Q-Audio systems come with spare AA batteries. The SM58, RE520 and Beta 57A come with a mic clip, the e604 has a built-in drum clamp, and the SM91A comes with its preamp and XLR cable. Stands are hired separately. Delivery is priced by distance.
