What size system do you actually need?
Most people over-hire or under-hire because they are guessing from a spec sheet. The honest answer comes down to three things: how many people, how loud, and whether it is speech, DJ or live music.

How much does audio equipment hire cost?
It comes down to four things: how big the system needs to be, whether you collect it or we deliver and set it up, whether you need an engineer on site, and how long we are there. Rather than publish headline figures that rarely match the real job, we quote properly — send the date, venue and guest numbers and you will usually have an itemised quote the same working day.
What size PA do I need for 100 people?
For around 100 guests you will usually want two 10" or 12" powered tops on stands plus one subwoofer, a small mixer and at least one wireless microphone. That covers speeches, background music and a DJ set. If a live band is playing, add monitors and more mixer inputs.
Can we hire the equipment and run it ourselves?
Yes. Dry hire is collected from our base near Diss and everything goes out PAT tested, in cases or covers, with the correct cabling and a straightforward setup guide — no missing leads in the car park. We are also happy to spend ten minutes on the phone talking a first-timer through it.
Do you supply sound engineers?
Yes. An engineer rings out the room so speeches do not feed back, mixes the band so the vocal sits above the drums, watches levels through the night and quietly fixes the mic that gets dropped. Worth it for live bands, complex running orders or anything with a lot of microphones.
Can you provide sound with no mains power?
Yes. Battery-powered PA covers ceremonies, garden events and pop-ups anywhere on site with no cable and no generator. For larger outdoor builds we supply full power distribution instead.
Is your equipment PAT tested and insured?
Yes. All equipment is PAT tested on a 12-month cycle and we carry £10m public liability cover. Certificates and risk assessments go straight to your venue on request.
