Where the power is

Tell us where the nearest sockets are. We bring the cabling to reach them, and battery uplighters cover the corners a cable can’t sensibly get to.

What we can fix to

Trees, the marquee frame, a building or nothing at all. Where there’s nothing, festoon goes up on our weighted poles.

Outdoor lighting questions.

Can the lighting stay out if it rains?
Yes. Our outdoor uplighters, battery uplighters, pinspot and HydroBeam are all rated for outdoor use and our festoon is weather-resistant, so the kit can stay out all weekend. When we install, we route the cables and joins so the site stays safe in the wet.
What if there’s no power in the garden?
Tell us where the nearest sockets are and we’ll bring the cabling to reach them. For trees and corners a cable can’t sensibly reach, the Chauvet H4 IP battery uplighters run for up to 20 hours per charge with no cables at all.
Can you light the trees at our wedding?
Yes. Weatherproof uplighters on ground stands at the base of each tree, in warm white or your wedding colour. Two or three trees lit well often make more of an impact than lighting every one.
Can you light the marquee inside and out?
Yes. Outside, 240 W uplighters wash the marquee walls; inside, battery uplighters, festoon canopies and dancefloor lighting. See marquee AV and uplighting hire.
Do we need someone to run it on the night?
Usually not. Festoon and uplighters are set and left, and we pre-program colour changes for you to trigger yourself. Moving beams like the HydroBeam are programmed by us before the event.
Can I collect outdoor lighting myself?
Yes. Dry hire is collected from our base near Diss, PAT tested and ready to go. Or we deliver, install, test and collect after the event, with delivery priced by distance.
How far ahead should we book?
Summer Saturdays and the weeks before Christmas go first, so ask as soon as you have a date and a venue. We’ll quote within one working day.
How much does outdoor event lighting cost?
Each fixture’s day rate is on its product page. Delivery and installation are priced in your quote before you book. Send the venue, the date and a few photos, and we’ll quote within one working day.
