Wedding sound and lighting, answered.
Do you stay for the whole wedding, or just drop the kit off?
Either. We can deliver, set up and soundcheck, stay on site for the speeches and the evening, and de-rig at the end, or deliver and collect if that is all you need.
Can you work with our band or DJ?
Yes. Send us their rider or stage plan and we'll supply the PA, stage, lighting and DJ equipment to match, and run sound on the night if they need an engineer.
Our venue has a noise limiter. Is that a problem?
No. Tell us the limit and the finish time and we'll set the system to sound full within it, usually with speakers spread around the room rather than two turned up at the front.
Can you do sound for an outdoor ceremony or a marquee?
Yes. Battery-powered speakers and radio mics cover most outdoor ceremonies, with no cables across the lawn. For marquees we bring the sound, lighting, staging and power distribution, and where there's no mains we'll advise on power and can coordinate a generator for you. Can you light trees and gardens outside the venue?
Yes, with IP-rated LED uplighters made for outdoor use. Tell us what you'd like lit and we'll plan the positions and the cable runs with you. For strings of lamps over a terrace or marquee, see our festoon lighting hire and outdoor event lighting pages.
How far do you travel for weddings?
We're based at Roydon near Diss and cover Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex as standard. Delivery is priced by distance from our base and shown in your quote before you book.
How much does wedding sound and lighting cost?
It depends on the room, the guest numbers and what you want to happen when. Day rates are on our product pages; the wedding hire range is a good place to start. Send us the date and venue and we'll reply with a quote within one working day.
Is your equipment safe for our venue?
Yes. We carry £10m public liability insurance, our stock is PAT tested every 12 months, our crew are DBS checked, and we can send your venue a risk assessment and method statement (RAMS) before the day.
