Why outdoors is different
There are no walls to help you.
Indoors, the room does half the work. Outdoors it does none of it, and three things start mattering enormously that you can usually ignore inside.
Sound goes where you aim it
With nothing to reflect off, level drops away fast across a field — and carries a very long way downwind toward whoever lives nearby. Systems need real headroom and careful aiming, not just more boxes.
We design coverage to reach the back of your audience while keeping level off the boundary, and we can work to a dB limit where the licence sets one.
Power is yours to build
A field has no sockets. Everything runs from a generator or a single supply point, which means proper distribution, correctly rated cable runs and load balanced across phases.
We supply 16A, 32A and 63A distro, single and three phase, with the cable runs to reach wherever the stage ends up.
The weather gets a vote
Rain, wind and direct sun each break something different — moisture in connectors, unstable structures, screens nobody can see. Wind loading on any covered stage or banner is a genuine safety matter, not a formality.
We use IP-rated fixtures where they will be exposed, weather protection over control positions, and build to sensible wind limits.

Community and village events
A stage, a PA that covers the field, a couple of mics and lighting if it runs into the evening. Delivered, built, operated and taken away, usually inside a day.
This is the bulk of what we do outdoors and it is the part most often over-specified by other suppliers. We will tell you if you need less than you asked for.
Multi-day and multi-space
Several performance areas, overlapping build and de-rig schedules, and power that has to hold across the whole site for days rather than hours.

Do you supply power and generators for outdoor events?
We supply the full power distribution — 16A, 32A and 63A distro, single and three phase, with the cable runs and protection to reach the stage. For the generator itself we work with local hire partners and can coordinate it as part of the build, or connect to a generator you have already arranged.
Can you work to a noise limit?
Yes. Where your licence sets a dB limit we plan the system around it from the start — aiming coverage at the audience rather than the boundary, and monitoring level through the event. It is far easier to design for a limit than to fight one on the day.
What happens if the weather turns?
We use IP-rated fixtures where equipment is exposed, weather protection over control and amplifier positions, and build to sensible wind limits on anything with a surface area. If conditions cross a safety threshold we will say so — that call gets made early, not at the last minute.
How big an audience can you cover?
Our scaled systems comfortably cover audiences into the 600-plus range with a sub array and appropriate fills. Beyond that we would look at the site properly and may bring in additional inventory.
Do you handle the licensing paperwork?
We supply the risk assessments, method statements and equipment certificates your licensing authority or venue will ask for. The event licence itself remains yours, but our paperwork is a standard part of the job, not an extra.
How early should we book an outdoor event?
For summer weekends, three to six months. Outdoor builds need a site visit and a proper power plan, so the earlier the conversation starts the better the result.
