Heavy wool serge drapes are the theatre standard. The deep matt black swallows light and deadens sound, for backdrops that photograph properly and stages that look finished.

Worth knowing before you book

• We hold three panels, which covers a 9 m run hung flat. For longer runs, our lighter black tie drapes make up the difference.
• Serge is the one to choose when the backdrop will be on camera or lit. It doesn't shine the way cheaper fabrics do.
• Drapes must not cover fire exits or signage. Tell us where they are, and we'll plan around them.
• Pair it with our LED star cloth for a lit backdrop with dark masking either side.
