You send four details

Name, phone, date and venue. If you know the numbers, the running order or the kit you want, add it — if not, that is what the call is for.

We reply within two working hours

Usually with a recommendation and a price. For bigger productions we will ask for a quick call first so the quote is right, not just fast.

We plan it properly

Power, access, timings and venue rules confirmed before the day. Site visits for productions, so nothing gets discovered at load-in.

How quickly will I hear back?
Within two working hours on a working day is the norm, and always the same working day. If the event is this week, call — it goes to the top of the list.
Do you deliver and set up, or can I collect?
Both. We deliver, set up and crew across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and north Essex, priced by distance and access. Dry-hire collection from our store in Roydon, near Diss, is by appointment. Anything rigged overhead, and any stage over 600mm high, is installed by us.
How does pricing work?
Every product page shows the day rate, VAT included. A weekend (Friday to Monday) is 1.5 × the day rate and a full week is 3 ×. Packages and production jobs are quoted as a whole, with delivery, setup and crew itemised so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
Is there a deposit?
A deposit confirms your date and the balance is due in cleared funds before the equipment leaves us. We take bank transfer and card. For dry-hire collections we may ask for photo ID and a refundable security deposit.
What if my plans change?
Tell us as early as you can and we will do what we can to re-plan rather than cancel. Where a booking has to be cancelled, the charge scales with how much notice we get — the schedule is in the cancellation policy.
Are you insured?
Yes — £10 million public liability cover, every item PAT tested, and risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) available for venues on request.
I don't know what I need. Can you still help?
That is most enquiries. Send the date, the venue and a rough idea of numbers and what is happening on the day; we will recommend a system that fits the room and the budget, and say plainly if something you have asked for is more than you need.
Do you repair equipment as well as hire it?
Yes. Amplifiers, powered speakers, mixers, DJ decks, lighting fixtures and hi-fi are repaired at component level through our AV repairs service, with drop-off near Diss, a workshop in Saxmundham and courier collection UK-wide. Repairs are booked through the form on that page rather than this one.
