The system follows the event, not the catalogue.
A 200-guest wedding and a 200-capacity band night need completely different systems. We spec around what's actually happening in the room.
Band PA and monitors
Front-of-house system sized to the room, wedge or IEM monitor mixes, a digital desk with enough inputs for a full backline, and multicore run tidily out of the way of guests. We can turn up early for a proper line check or work to a tight changeover if there are multiple acts.
DJ sound systems
Tops and subs that hold up for a full dancefloor without distorting at 11pm, plus a booth, DJ monitor and the right connections for CDJs, controllers or a laptop. If your DJ is bringing their own gear, we'll confirm exactly what they need to plug into before the day.
Weddings and toasts

What an engineer actually does
Rings out the room so speeches don't feed back, mixes the band so the vocal sits above the drums, watches levels through the night, and quietly fixes the mic that gets dropped. You get one person to point at when something needs changing — and someone who stays until the last song.
When you need one
Any event with a live band, more than about three microphones, a running order with cues, or a client who can't afford a wobble — awards nights, conferences and weddings with a formal schedule. For a DJ-only party or simple speeches, a delivered and pre-tuned system is usually plenty.
Engineers are quoted per event day and that covers the whole day — setup, sound check, the event itself and de-rig at the end.

How much does PA hire cost in Norwich?
It comes down to four things: how big the system needs to be, whether you collect it or we deliver and set it up, whether you need an engineer on site, and how long we're there. What size PA do I need for 100 people?
For around 100 guests you'll usually want two 10" or 12" powered tops on stands plus one subwoofer, a small mixer and at least one wireless microphone. That's enough for speeches, background music and a DJ set. If a live band is playing, add monitors and more mixer inputs.
Do you deliver and set up in Norwich?

How far in advance should I book?
For Saturdays in summer and December, four to six months is sensible. Midweek and off-peak dates are often available at much shorter notice — it's always worth asking, even at a week's notice.
Is your equipment PAT tested and insured?
Yes. All equipment is PAT tested on a 12-month cycle and we carry £10m public liability cover. We'll send certificates and a risk assessment straight to your venue if they ask for them.
